The Forest

The woods about a mile or two south of the high school

"I swear it was here," Scott mumbles, kneeling down and continuing his search for his inhaler, barely taking note of the sound of footsteps a small distance off.

"Buy a new one," Sierra mutters, nervous. Stiles swats her arm, huffing

He shakes his head, biting his lip. "They're-" He starts, cut off by a curt, feminine voice. "What're you doing here?" Someone calls flatly, almost rudely, a girl around their age standing a few feet away, her face a void of emotion.

"Taking not of the wildlife," Sierra snorts, Stiles paling visibly

"We're uh, we're looking for my-" He starts, the girl scoffing and tossing the inhaler to his feet, Scott looking down at it before looking up at her, struggling to find words.

"Thank you would be nice," Stiles suggests after calming down

"Uh, tha-" Scott starts, though she turns and walks off before he can finish, since another voice had called out from the trees.

"Okay then," Sierra says slowly

[Samara Adeline Hale]

"Who the heck was that?" He asks in confusion, a deeper voice calling out again, though the girl responds with a sharp 'shut up', the voices no longer sounding as the siblings head back to where they're staying.

"Samara Hale," Sierra says immediately.

Scott still looks confused, the name obviously new to him.

"The fire," she says slowly. "Her brother Derek and their uncle Peter."

He shakes his head, still looking just as clueless.

"Idiot," she sighs

"I'm still confused," He mumbles, brow furrowed

"Of course you are," Stiles sighs

"How long ago was it?" He inquires, rolling his eyes

"I don't know, a few years."

"Then I probably forgot."

"Probably."

"Refresh my memory a bit maybe?"

"We already have!"

"Maybe in the usual Stilinski detail instead of bits and pieces?"
